Step 1. Fold the square paper into a triangle.
Place the origami paper in a diamond position and fold it in half horizontally to create a triangle.
Step 2. Fold it in half vertically to make a smaller triangle.
Step 3. Use the lower layer on the front of the paper to fold the shape into a diamond.
Step 4. Flip the triangular flap on the right over to the other side.
Step 5. Fold the left side into a diamond shape in the same way.
Step 6. Arrange the paper so that there are two layers on each side. Fold the bottom section backward to create a V-shaped edge.
Step 7. Fold the top section backward in the same way, creating a long diamond shape with diagonal edges.
Step 8. Fold the top and bottom tips slightly backward to create straight, horizontal edges.
Step 9. Fold both sides backward to make the edges straight and give your pumpkin a neat shape.
Step 10. Cut out a pumpkin face and a small green stem from colored paper, then attach them to your folded pumpkin.
