Origami Elephant Tutorial - DRAWINART

Today’s star of the DRAWINART origami lesson is a cute baby elephant! Since it’s a baby elephant, the design is simple and small, making it easy enough even for 4-year-olds to follow along. Grab your favorite square paper and let’s begin!

To create a soft and adorable baby elephant feeling, I chose sky-blue origami paper.

Fold the paper in half horizontally and vertically to create guide lines.

Fold the left side diagonally toward the center line so that a triangle shape appears.

Then fold the entire paper in half.

Lift the small opening on the left side upward carefully

and fold it into a triangle shape. This creates the elephant’s trunk — and your adorable baby elephant origami is complete!

Finally, draw the eyes and details on the face. In just a few moments, your tiny baby elephant comes to life! It’s such a fun and beginner-friendly craft for children who are just starting origami.
