Easy Paper Spider Web Halloween DecorationsThe craft we’re introducing this time is Easy Paper Spider Web Halloween Decorations. By doing a simple paper fold and then cutting little slits, you can magically create a spider web in just minutes. Kids can finish what looks like a complicated web in only 5 minutes! How about making a large spider web and hanging it on the wall? You can also add a spider made from a pom-pom onto the web. Today we’re excited to see the amazing spider webs your kids will make!

First, prepare a rectangular sheet of paper. At DRAWINART we suggest using black or orange since those colors bring out the Halloween mood. And the bigger the paper, the bigger your spider web will be!

Fold the paper in half horizontally.

Next, with the fold in the center, fold the right side diagonally toward the left. The folding diagram in the illustrations will help kids understand this part!

Repeat the same folding on the opposite side.

Then cut from the top‐side of the folded paper. For the Halloween spider web you need to cut the triangular section shown below.

Cut both sides of the triangle like fish bones, as shown in the photo, and you’re done!

When you unfold the paper—ta-da! The children’s art activity for Easy Paper Spider Web Halloween Decorations is complete with just one paper fold.

This fold-and-cut technique gives a fun flip-effect in kids’ art: making the Halloween spider web is easy to follow with children, right? At DRAWINART you’ll find lots of fun art activities like this—come join us!
