Easy Halloween Monster Paper Plate Crafts for Preschoolers
Let’s spark your kids’ imagination with a fun monster-making activity!
In celebration of Halloween, how about creating your very own imaginary monster?
Since there’s no right or wrong answer, this DRAWINART project is extra fun — enjoy drawing and crafting together with your child!

Step 1. Use Disposable Items for Your Monster!
We’ll be using everyday disposable items to bring our monsters to life.
Start with a colorfully painted paper plate and fold it in half — this will form the base of your monster’s shape. :D

Step 2. Add Fun Details
Next, grab a plastic capsule from a toy machine (like a gacha capsule).
Stick three eyes onto one half of the plastic dome — and there you have your monster’s unique face! 👀

Step 3. Encourage Creativity
In preschool art activities, it’s perfectly fine if your child wants to give their monster just one eye, or experiment with different shapes for the face.
The key is to let each child use various materials and express their own Halloween monster idea!

Step 4. Add a Playful Expression
In DRAWINART, our monster is sticking out its tongue playfully — “Bleh!” 😝
Make the tongue as long as you want — the longer, the funnier the monster looks!

Step 5. Finishing Touches
Glue on some round paper shapes to decorate and complete your monster.
And that’s it! Your Easy Halloween Monster Paper Plate Craft is done!
Use DRAWINART’s sample as inspiration, and add your own household items to make each monster extra special.
🎨 Tip:
The quirkier, the better! Kids love it when their monsters look a little strange.
Spend a creative and fun weekend crafting together with your children! :D
